Liz Truss is back and she has written a book!

Mary Elizabeth Truss, commonly known as Liz Truss, is a British politician who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party from September to October 2022


She was born on July 26, 1975, in Oxford, England.

Truss has held several key positions in the UK government.

She was the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs from September 15, 2021

She was also appointed as the Minister for Women and Equalities on September 10, 2019.

 Prior to these roles, she served as the Secretary of State for International Trade, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Secretary of State for Justice, and Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.

She was elected as the Conservative MP for South West Norfolk in 20102Truss has the distinction of being the youngest female cabinet member in British history in 2014, the first female lord chancellor in 2016, and the first female Conservative foreign secretary in 2021.

On her fiftieth day in office as Prime Minister, she stepped down amid a government crisis, making her the shortest-serving prime minister in British history

Despite her short tenure, she has made a significant impact on British politics. 

Her political career is marked by her stances on various issues, including energy policy, taxation, climate and green energy, health and social care, and other economic policies.
